Given : The quantities of wheat produced last year and this year are in the ratio 7 : 10
Let ratio coefficient = x
So,
Total wheat produced last year = 7x
And
Total wheat produced during this year = 10x

And also given , this year the production of the crop is 7290 tonnes more than that of the last year . So

7x + 7290 = 10x

3x = 7290

x = 2430

Total wheat produced during this year = 2430 ( 10 ) = 24300 ( Ans )
