It has the following pattern, acb/ dca/ dba/ cbd/ cad/ bac/ bd

where next term is obtained by changing 1st and 3rd letter i.e. a and d of the previous alphabet and middle letter remain same as follows

a$-$1 $=$ d, b$-$1 $=$ a, c $=$ c

so the next term will be dca.

And then change middle letter by subtracting 1, where 1st and 3rd remain as it is

so the next term = (d) (c $-$ 1) (a)$=$ dba.
