$\Rightarrow \frac{a}{b}=3+0=3$

If $a=3\frac{5}{8}=\frac{29}{8}$ then

$\Rightarrow a=3b$

$\Rightarrow \frac{29}{8}=3b$

or $b=\frac{29}{24}$

$\therefore$ the other number is $\frac{29}{24}$
