The radius and slant height of a cone are in the ratio 3:5. It's CSA is 2310cm2. Find its radius.

Let ratio be x.
then radius 3x
Slant height = 5x
Curved surface area = pi (radius ) (slant height)
pi (3x)(5x) = 2310
15pi x^2= 2310
x^2 = 2310/15 pi
x^2 =49.019
x = 7.001
~ 7
Radius = 3(7) = 21 cm
