The correct option is D $24$ cm
$O B = 5 c m$
$O A = 13 c m$
$A B = \sqrt{O A^{2} - O B^{2}}$ ...... by pythagoras theorem

$= \sqrt{13^{2} - 5^{2}} = 12 c m$

Length of the chord $A C = 2 A B = 2 \times 12 = 24 c m$
