The radius of a circle with centre O is 7cm, OP = 4cm and OQ = 9cm state with reason which point lies in the interior and which in the exterior of the circle.

OP = 4 cm, which is less than the radius.
Therefore, point P lies inside the circle.
And OQ = 9 cm, which is greater than the radius.
Therefore, point Q lies on the exterior of the circle.
