## Here, r = 14 cm and h = 24 cm Volume of the cone = $\frac{1}{3}\mathrm{\pi }{r}^{\mathit{2}}h\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}$ $=\frac{1}{3}×\frac{22}{7}×14×14×24\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=4928{\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$ Curved surface area of the cone = $\mathrm{\pi }rl\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}$ $=\frac{22}{7}×14×\sqrt{{7}^{2}+{24}^{2}}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=22×2×25\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=1100{\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$ ∴ Total surface area of the cone = $\mathrm{\pi }rl\mathit{}+\mathrm{\pi }{r}^{2}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}$ $=1100+\frac{22}{7}×14×14\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=1100+616\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=1716{\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$
