The ratio between pollen mother cell and microspores produced during microsporogenesis is -
1: 4
Sporogenous tissue in anther consists of pollen mother cells also called microspore mother cells which undergo meiosis to form pollen grains or microspores. This process of reduction division is called microsporogenesis. One pollen mother cell undergoes meiotic division to produce four microspores. Hence the ratio is 1: 4.
