The ratio of copper and zinc in an alloy is 9:5. If the weight of copper in the alloy is 46.6 grams. find the weight of zinc in the alloy.

Let copper in alloy be 9x and zinc be 5x.
ATQ,
9x=46.6
x=5.18
So,weight of zinc=5x
=5 × 5.18
=25.9 grams
