Similarly,

Ratio of expenditure of two persons is $4:3$

Let the expenditure of 1^st person be $4y$ and that of 2^nd person be $3y$.

According to the question,

$9x-4y=2000$ …… (1)

$7x-3y=2000$ ……. (2)

Solving equations (1) and (2), we get,

$x=2000$ and $y=4000$

Therefore,

Income of 1^st person $=9\times 2000=Rs.18000$

Income of 2^nd person $=7\times 2000=Rs.14000$

Hence, this is the required result.
