The working rate of $A : B$ is $4 : 3$
Let the common factor be $x$
So the amount of work done by A in a single day is $4 x$
And the amount of work done by B in a single day is $3 x$
The total amount of work be $12 x$
So $A$ takes $\frac{12 x}{4 x} = 3$ days

And $B$ takes $\frac{12 x}{3 x} = 4$ days
Their ratio is $3 : 4$
