The ratio of the ages of the father and the daughter at present is 3:1, four years ago the ratio was 4 : 1. The average age of the father and daughter 2 year hence will be?

Let the present ages of father be 3x and daugter be x.
so the 4 year ago father's age and daughter's age was (3x-4) and (x-4)
(3x4x4)=41
x =12 year and 3x =36 year

Two year from now, their age will be 14 and 38 years.
Average age = ( 14+38 )/ 2 = 26 Years
