The ratio of the area and the perimetre of a circle is $\frac{21}{2}$. If the area of the circle is same as the area of a rectangle with length $42$ cm then find the breadth of the rectangle.

Let the radius of he circle be $r$ cm.

Then by the problem,

$\frac{\pi r^2}{2\pi r}=\frac{21}{2}$

or, $r=21$......(1).

Also by the problem,

$\pi r^2=42\times b$ [ Where we let the breadth of the rectangle be of $b$ cm]

or, $b=33$

So the breadth of the rectangle be $33$cm.
