Solution

'A' is an inert gas with the first three orbits completely filled. Its electron configuration will be [Ar] 3d104s24p6 or 1s2 2s22p63s2 3p6 4s23d10 4p6.

The atomic number of ‘A’ is 36.

The ratio of the atomic number of two ‘A’ and ‘B’ is 2:3. so the Atomic number ‘B’ will be 54.

The element ‘B’ is Xenon and its electron configuration will be Electron configuration: [Kr]4d10 5s2 5p6 or 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 4s2 3d10 4p6 5s2 4d10 5p6.
