The area of the parallelogram 'A' = 48 m2
The ratio of the base and the height of the parallelogram = 4 : 3
Let the length of the base and height = 4x and 3x respectively.
We know that b×h = A
4x×3x = 48
12x2 = 48
x2 = 4
x = 2
Therefore, the length of the base = 4x = 4 × 2 = 8 m.
The height of the parallelogram = 3x = 3 × 2 = 6 m
