The correct option is A $36$ cm
Let length be $3 x$ and breadth be $2 x$ . Then

Area of frame = length x breadth

$\Rightarrow 864 = 3 x \times 2 x$

$\Rightarrow x^{2} = 144 \Rightarrow x = \sqrt{144} = 12 c m$
