Solution

The correct option is A Rs 3,60,000
Let the cost of the two houses last year be Rs. 4x and Rs. 5x.
Then 4x+25%of(4x)5x+50,000=910

1.25×4x5x+50,000=910

50x=45x+9×50000

5x=9×9×50000

x=90,000

A's price last year =4× Rs. 90,000= Rs. 3,60,000.
