Let the two sides of parallelogram be 3x and 5x
Perimeter = 2(length+breadth)
Perimeter $=2(3x+5x)=16x$
But, perimeter is 48 m
$\therefore 48=16x$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{48}{16}=3$
Hence,the sides of the parallelogram are $3\times 3=9$ m and $5\times 3=15$ m.
