We know that the velocity of electron in nth orbit of hydrogen like atom:
Ve=2.189×106×Zn ms1
for hydrogen Z = 1
So, according to the question,
VeVlight=1275=2.189×106×Zn3×108
n=2
So, n+1=3, transition from n=3 to n=1
1λ=12×109678 (1n211n22) cm1
1λ=12×109678 (112132) cm1
1λ=9.75×104 cm1
