O2 comes from H2O in light rxn of photosynthesis. There is two process in light rxn. First is cyclic and second is non cyclic process. In cyclic rxn H2O split into H2 and O2 in presence of oxygen evolving complex which is situated adjacent to PS2 (photo system 2nd).
