The initial rate r0=kP0AP0B
The initial rate r0=k×0.40×1.0=0.40k.....(1)
When PC=0.3 atm, PA=0.400.30=0.10 atm and PB=1.00.3=0.7 atm.
The rate r=kP0AP0B
The rate =k×0.10×0.7=0.07k.....(2)
Divide equation (2) with equation (1)

rr0=0.07k0.40k

rr0=0.74

Hence, the option (D) none of these is the correct answer.
