A.C ammeter reads the rms value of current
$i_{r m s} = \frac{i_{0}}{\sqrt{2}}$
and $i_{0} = \frac{V_{0}}{Z}$

$V_{0} = 100 V$

$Z = \sqrt{R^{2} + (X_{L} - X_{C})^{2}}$
$= \sqrt{10^{2} + 10^{2}} = 10 \sqrt{2} Ω$

$\Rightarrow i_{0} = \frac{V_{0}}{Z} = \frac{100}{10 \sqrt{2}} = \frac{10}{\sqrt{2}} A$
