For $G$ to be zero,

$V_A=V_P$

$\therefore I=\frac{6-2}{500}=\frac{4}{500};I_{AB}=\frac{2-0}{x}=\frac{4}{500}⟹x=\frac{1000}{4}=250\Omega$
