The correct option is B 15 cm
Given, f=30cm
μ=32
Since it is an equiconvex lens R1=R2=R
Also R2 will negative if we follow the sign convention of light rays travelling through a lens or mirror.
Applying the lens makers formula we get
1f=(μ1)(1R11R2)
130=(321)(1R+1R)
130=12×2R=1R
R=30cm
For a concave mirror we know that
f=R2=302=15cm
Hence the correct answer is option (B).
