The reason behind colour of sky is white during noon time?

At noon , the sun is above our head , so we get light rays directly from the sun without much scattering of any particular color. Further , light has to travel less depth of atmosphere and the light coming from the overhead sun contains almost all its component colors in the right proportion .Hence , the color of sky is white during noon time .
