Given refractive index of denser medium with respect to rarer medium =1.125

Also we know ${\mu }_{D.R}=\frac{Velocityinrarermedium}{Velocityindensermedium}1.125=\frac{V_R}{V_D}{V}_R=1.125V_D$

Also given $V_R-V_D=0.25\times {10}^{8}m/s$

Substituting the value of $V_R$ we get

$V_D=2\times {10}^8$

so $V_R=2.25\times {10}^8$
