The correct option is B 20N

Step 1: Resolving forces along Resultant [Refer Fig.]
Let the first force be F1=203 N which makes 30o degree with the resultant.
Let the other force be F2 which makes θ degree with the resultant.
Components of F1 and F2 along R

F1cos30o+F2cosθ=R

203cos30o+F2cosθ=20

F2cosθ=10 ....(1)

Step 2: Resolving forces perpendicular to the resultant.
F1sin30o+F2sinθ=0

203×12+F2sinθ=0

F2sinθ=103 ....(2)

Step 3: Solving equations
From equation (1) and (2)

F22cos2θ+F22sin2θ=100+300

F22=400

F2=20N

Hence the magnitude of other force is 20N
Option B is correct.
