Transcription process will keep on happening until it gets signals to stop; the process by which transcription ends is called termination. This is possible only when the terminator sequence of the DNA gets transcribed. RNA termination follows two strategies; Rho dependent and Rho independent. In a Rho dependent process, RNA polymerase will have binding site for Rho factor, when the Rho – RNA couple meet the RNA polymerase it pulls apart the RNA from DNA, thus stopping transcription.
