Initial angular velocity wi=0
Final angular velocity wf=600 rev/min=600×2π60=20π rad/s
Time t=2 s
Using wf=wi+αt
Or 20π=0+α×2
α=10π rad/s
Now, angle by which rod is rotated θ=π4
Using θ=wit+12αt2
Or π4=0+12(20π)t2
t=1210 s
