The salt which does not react with acid or base is Sodium chloride.
Salts having common acidic or basic radicals are said to belong to the same family. Sodium chloride (NaCl) and Calcium chloride (CaCl2) belong to chloride family.

Salts produced because of reaction between a strong acid and strong base is neutral in nature. The pH of a value of such salts is equal to 7, i.e. neutral.
