the school of a boy from his home is 1 kilometre to the east when he reaches back home he says that he had travelled 2km distance but his displacement is zero.justify your answer.

Because displacement can be zero . In a circular ground if we start from a point and move 2km and come back to our initial position then distance covered is 2km but displacement is 0 because displacement is the shortest distance between the initial position and the final position
