Konrad Lorenz was an Austrian Scientist who studied animal behaviour. He is best known for the discovery of imprinting type of animal behaviour. He discovered that when he reared Geese since they were hatched, they became imprinted on him. Means, the geese preferred to be near around him even when they grew as an adult. Konrad Lorenz is also known as the "Father of Ethology" and Foster mother of Ducks.
