Dear User,
Alkali metals have high second ionisation enthalpy as after losing one electron, alkali metals attain their noble gas configuration and so removal of another electron is difficult and thus second ionisation energy is very high.
Alkaline earth metals have 2 electrons in their valence shell. The second ionisation enthalpy is lower than that of alkali metal because in alkaline earth metal, after removal of one electron, one more electron is present in valence shell which can be removed easily as after its removal the atom will attain noble gas configuration, and therefore their second ionisation enthalpy is low.
