The perimeter of the garden will be equal to the circumference of the complete circle (two semi-circular parts) plus twice the length of the rectangular part.
$\text{Length}=20–(\frac{7}{2}$+ $\frac{7}{2})$
$=20–7$
$=13m$
$\text{Circumference of circle}=2\pi r=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{2}=22m$
$\text{Perimeter of the garden}=(13+13+22)m=48m$
