The. given figure has a rectangle and two semicircles.

Clearly, the diameter of each semi-circle is 7 m

radius of the semi-circle (r)=72 m

Area of rectangular part = Length × Width

Length = Total length of the figure 2× radius of semi-circle

Length =20 m(2×72 m)=(20 m7 m)=13 m

Width of the rectangle = diameter of semi-circle =7 m

Area of rectangle =(13×7) sq. m=91 sq. m

Here, we have two semi circular portions with the same radius 72 m.

Also, area of semi-circular portion =2× Area of semicircle

=2×πr22

=πr2

=227×72×72

=38.5 sq. m

Total area =91 sq. m+38.5 sq. m=129.5 sq. m
