To calculate hybridisation, we can use the formula
12(V+MC+A)
Here,
V=Number of valence electrons
M=Number of monovalent atom
C=Magnitude of positive charge
A=Magnitude of negative charge
Here, the central atom, Cl has 7 valence electrons. Thus
12(7+00+1)=4
