The side BC of ABC is produced on both sides. Prove that the sum of the exterior angles so formed is greater than A by two right angles.

In ΔABC
A+B+C=180o ………(1)
Now,
B+ABP=180o
(linear pair)
C+ACQ=180o (linear pair)
B+C+ABP+ACQ=360o
B+C=180A (from (1))
180A+ABP+ACQ=360o
ABP+ACQ=360o180o+A
=180+A
Sum of exterior angles is 180o (2 right angles) more than A.
