Convex mirror as side mirror:

  1. A diverging mirror, or convex mirror, diverges light as it strikes its reflecting surface.
  2. Convex mirrors always produce virtual, erect, and reduced pictures, regardless of the distance between the item and the mirror.
  3. If the scooter's side mirror is replaced with a plane mirror, the driver cannot see the traffic spread out across a vast area behind him.
  4. In comparison to a convex mirror, the area is seen on a plane mirror is smaller.
  5. The image created by convex mirrors is dispersed over a vast region, they are employed as side mirrors in scooters. Drivers will be able to see a larger area behind them in traffic as a result of this.
