Side of square $= 13 c m$
Therefore,
Perimeter of square $= 4 \times 13 = 52 c m$
Now each side of square is increased by $a c m$ .
Therefore,
Side of new square $= (13 + a) c m$
Therefore,
Perimeter of new square $= 4 \times (13 + a) = (52 + 4 a) c m$
