It is given that
Sides of a triangle are $2 x + 3 y, x + 5 y$ and $7 x - 2 y$
We know that
Perimeter = Sum of all three sides of a triangle
Substituting the values
$P = 2 x + 3 y + x + 5 y + 7 x - 2 y$
By further calculation
$= 2 x + x + 7 x + 3 y + 5 y - 2 y$
So we get
$= 10 x + 8 y - 2 x$
$= 10 x + 6 y$
