Solution

The correct option is B 12cm
Given the sides of equilateral triangle are (3x+2y),(5x+6y) and (x+y+3)
The all sides of equilateral triangle are equal
Then 3x+2y=5x+6y
3x5x=6y2y
2x=4y
x=2y...................(1)
And 5x+6y=x+y+3
5xx+6yy=3
4x+5y=3..........(2)
Put the value x=2y as per (1) we get
4(2y)+5y=3
8y+5y=3
3y=3
y=1..................(3)
x=2(1)=2
Put the value x=2 and y=1 in length of side
x+y+3=21+3=4 cm
Then perimeter of triangle =3×4=12
