To make it a Square , the shorter side has to be increased from 8 to 10 . ( Assuming 8 and 10 to be the actual values )

Difference = 10 - 8 = 2

$\therefore$ Fraction by which it should be changed = $\frac{2}{8}$ = $\frac{1}{4}$
