We know that out of these thrre sides
2x+1 is bigger
So it must be hypotenuse
So in right triangle
By pythagoras thorem
by pythagorus (2x+1)^2 =(2 x)^2 +(x-1)^2
4x^2+4x+1 = 4x^2 +x^2-2x+1
4x^2 +4x +1 =5 x^2-4x +1
4x+1 = x^2-2x+1
x^2 - 6x =0
x*(x-6) =0
x = 6
