The sides of a triangle are 150cm,100cmand200cm respectively.

If three sides are given, then the area of a triangle can be calculated using Heron’s formula:

Thus, the area of a triangle using Heron’s formula=s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)squareunits.

Where,a=150cm,b=100cmandc=200cm

sisthesemi-perimeter=(a+b+c)2=(150+100+200)2=4502=225

Now, substitute the values in the area formula, we get

A=[225(225-150)(225-100)(225-200)]

On simplifying the above expression, we get

A=187515

In decimal form,A=7261.8437

Therefore, the area of a triangle is 7261.8437cm2
