The sides of triangle are 9,40 and 41. Determine whether it is a right-angled triangle .

The sides of the triangle are 9 , 40 and 41 units.
The longest side is 41 units.
(41)2 = 1681 ....(1)
Now, we will calculate the sum of the squares of the other two sides.
(9)2 +(40)2 = 81+1600 = 1681 ...(2)
From equations (1) and (2) ,we get:
(41)2 = (9)2 +(40)2
Thus, these are the sides of a right-angled triangle by the converse of Pythagoras' Theorem.
