Solution

Dear student,
Answer is 1. The kinetics of enzymes and the basal metabolism. Enzymes are very sensitive to temperature, at higher temperature and at lower temperature enzymes do not function. They mostly get denatured or becomes inactive. All the reaction in the body are governed by enzymes which governs the metabolism of the body. In warm blooded animals body maintains its temperature itself through homoeostasis but in cold blooded animals temperature affects their metabolism.
Temperature affects the metabolism, physiology, behaviour growth, development and distribution of plants and animals.
