So there are 32 small cubes and 4 big cubes
4 big cubes don't have any red side so they are out.
Red colour is painted on top and bottom.
And vertically it is divided in three layers and 1st and 3rd layer have the small cubes.
So remaining 32 cubes will have 1 red side.
Therefore, answer is$=32$
Hence, option 'B' is correct.
