The cockroach is an insect that has muscles and does not have bones in the body.

Structure:

  1. The body is covered with a hard outer skeleton called exoskeleton made up of chitin that provides shape to the body of cockroaches.
  2. The outer skeleton is made up of a number of plates that joined together and permit movement to the body of cockroaches.
