The correct option is B1gm Solubility of salt at 100oC=75g Solubility of salt at 40oC=25g ∴ Ratio of solubility of salt at 100oC and 40oC=75:25 =3:1 The saturated solution at 100oC contains salt =1.5g ∴ At 40oC the solubility will be- 3:1=1.5:x ∴x=0.5g Thus, the amount of salt that will settle down =1.5−0.5=1g
