Speed of light in Dimond = 125000 $\times$ 1000 m/s or 1.25 $\times$ $10^{8}$ m/s
We know, refractive index = $\frac{S p e e d o f l i g h t i n v a c u u m}{S p e e d o f l i g h t i n a m e d i u m}$
Refractive index = $\frac{3 \times 10^{8}}{1.25 \times 10^{8}}$ = 2.4
